Everything began when I entered the applied arts section at high school. It was there that I discovered a passion for stained glass, as if I was rediscovering gestures and know-how that I already knew. It was obvious, I was going to make it my profession.
I then set out to find a master craftsman to prepare me for the CAP arts and glass techniques option stained glass artist. These searches proved difficult for a woman in this environment. Having received dozens of refusals across France, I was finally received by a Master Glassmaker in Marseille.
Within this workshop I obtained my CAP and subsequently climbed the ranks to become workshop manager and site manager in church restoration.
I also discovered a desire to pass on my knowledge, having suffered from the lack of information and advice throughout my apprenticeship. After several years, I therefore decided to set up my own business to do professional training and continue restoration.
Throughout my career I have always needed to create, which has led me to become a freelance artist today. I finally allow myself to be totally invested in creation, integrating other techniques and shaping other materials.

She was at hard school and tweaked the stained glass maker's technique. And then, little by little, her experience helping, she allowed herself to follow the path of her own inspiration. Out of a way of doing everything traced, she let express the talent she seems to carry in her for always.
Today Valérie has the feeling that "every job is a state of being, a story" and reflects an evolution. It draws a "frame of life" between past and future generations. The work of the artist sometimes seems to exceed her, forcing her by some alchemy, to modify her initial idea and to discover that she has been the vector of something that surpasses her. A feeling she would like to share because, according to her, "we all carry in us an artistic gift".
